Hey there, my name is Jaiden Sky, I’m a tattoo artist located in Southern Oregon. If we haven’t met yet, I specialize in custom tattoos that blend fine detail, meaningful symbolism, and thoughtful design. And if we have met - welcome back, it’s so good to have you here again.

I’m finally bringing the blog out of retirement!

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted here (three years to be exact), and honestly? That break gave me space to grow as an artist and as a business owner. My style has evolved, my technique has sharpened, and my love for this craft has only deepened. Now, I’m excited to bring that energy to this blog — to reconnect, re-inspire, and share the side of tattooing that doesn’t always make it to social media.

Why I’m Relaunching This Blog (and Why You’ll Want to Keep Reading)

I want to pull back the curtain and show you more than just the final result. I want to talk about how great tattoos come to life, from the initial concept and consultation to aftercare that ensures your ink heals beautifully. I want to share stories from the chair, highlight the symbolism behind popular designs, and give you the tools to feel confident walking into any tattoo appointment, whether it’s with me or another trusted artist.

In today’s fast-paced world of social media, where content disappears in 24 hours and algorithms decide what you see. A blog offers something more lasting, personal, and valuable: a space where I can slow down and share in-depth insight, real stories, and meaningful advice without the pressure of trends or filters. Unlike a fleeting Instagram post, each blog entry becomes part of a growing resource you can return to anytime, whether you’re researching tattoo aftercare, exploring design ideas, or just curious about the artistry behind the ink. Between myself and my assistant Amanda Coscette (with Southern Oregon Marketing Group) - every post will offer something useful, whether you’re prepping for a new piece or just love the art form as much as I do. We are hoping to offer even more posting when we can find the time, but for now, a monthly post is what we’re committed to. We are so excited to work more on this passion project and launch into publication in an age of social media.

  No more conflicting Reddit threads or TikTok “hacks.” I’ll break down what I tell my own clients, why it works, and how to tailor care based on your skin, placement, and design style.

  I intend to start offering a bit more about the behind the scenes of my process in an educational format. I hope to inspire the next generation of young artists and give them the tips and tricks I wish I could have learned sooner.

  Any and all out-of-the-ordinary projects, events, collaborations, etc. will be documented here in an in-depth version that you may not be able to get online. My personal thoughts and feelings and so much more when special things happen.

• Real Client Stories and Tattoo Journeys
  With permission, I’ll be sharing the stories behind some of the most meaningful tattoos I’ve worked on: stories of healing, resilience, transformation, or celebration.

• A Spotlight for Other Creatives & Business’s
  I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many other incredible creatives in my own field as well as other’s. Here, we can give other’s a voice and platform to use as well. To be featured in a blog can lead to even bigger publication’s, sharing our audiences is always valuable.

• Art, Life, and Creativity in Southern Oregon
  Occasionally I’ll share more personal reflections: what it’s like to run a creative business here, what inspires me in the Rogue Valley, and how I stay grounded between sessions.
