FAQs

How does pricing work?

Each project is priced individually based on size, detail, placement, and estimated time. I offer both flat rates and pro-rated sessions depending on the piece. If you’re unsure about your quote, feel free to reach out before your appointment.

How long will my appointment take?

Tattoo sessions can range from under an hour to a full day. I’ll always communicate an estimated time, but please keep your day flexible just in case - I never want to rush your piece.

What should I bring with me?

  • Valid ID

  • Snacks and water (especially for longer sessions)

  • Headphones, a book, or something to pass the time

  • Wear black loose fitting clothes that is easy to access the tattoo area⁣ ⁣⁣

  • A cozy layer - it can get chilly during long sessions

How should I prepare?

Please read the Pre-Care Instructions

What’s Aftercare Like?

You’ll receive an after-care sheet after your session, but you can also check the Aftercare Guide.

Can I bring a friend?

Please come solo unless you’ve made prior arrangements. This helps maintain a calm and focused atmosphere for everyone.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens! Just please give me at least 48 hours’ notice to retain your deposit and avoid penalties. If you’re sick, reschedule - your health and mine are equally important. (Penalties waived for emergencies)

Do you offer Touch Ups?

Yes! Touch Ups are free unless stated otherwise. You can schedule a touch up yourself with the booking link from your original appointment. Please contact me before booking with photos of the problem area. (Touch Ups maybe charged accordingly, anything under 1hr is typically free of charge, poor aftercare may result in full charge, touch ups must be scheduled within a year, anything later would be considered natural aging.)

Do you offer any discounted designs?

Yes! Please reach out to me directly to view these designs. They are priced and sized individually.

What types of projects do you take on?

I primarily take on large-scale projects in black and grey fine line and realism, with a preference for work that flows with the body and allows space for artistic interpretation. I’m most drawn to cohesive, themed pieces like sleeves or multi-session projects. Common subjects I love include botanicals, nature scenes, classical art references, skulls and bones, folklore, mythology, freehand florals, antique objects, anatomy, crystals, and feminine imagery.

When is my consultation?

I do not offer consultations. For larger projects, such as sleeves, much of our first session together will be for planning. Much like a consultation, communication on details will be had before we put the ink to skin. If needed, this may take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. This time is included in the price of your session.

When can I see my design?

Designs will not be shown or sent before hand. I prefer to design with the client present, I often freehand my designs on the skin and discuss the details at your appointment. Most often, there is nothing prepared to be shown ahead of time.

What do I do if my project didn't get accepted?

Be sure your project aligns well with my style and scope of work. However, due to availability, I simply cannot fit all of the awesome projects into my schedule. Feel free to reach out for artist recommendations or resubmit your inquiry for next booking season!

What if I’m traveling?

Thank you for making the trip, it means a lot! If scheduling allows, you’re welcome to book back-to-back sessions for larger projects, though keep in mind this can be hard on your body and healing process, so extra care is encouraged. I offer more flexibility for out-of-state clients - if travel issues like delays or flight cancellations come up, just communicate and I’ll do my best to accommodate a reschedule. I’m based in Grants Pass, a small town in Southern Oregon surrounded by great food, vineyards, and outdoor adventures. If you need recommendations for places to stay, eat, or explore, feel free to reach out!

Who is not a good candidate for tattoos?

I will not tattoo you if you are: Pregnant, drunk, on drugs, on blood thinners, under 18 years old, have an active infection, racist, sexist, homophobic, threatening, going against doctors orders, a screamer, unable to pay, acting inappropriately, rude, not listening to instructions.

What if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Pregnant: I will not tattoo you if you are knowingly pregnant. If you become pregnant after making your appointment, please either cancel or reschedule yourself for well after your due date.

Breastfeeding: Please get your doctor’s approval before making your appointment. For you and your baby’s safety, please use pre-cautions. Seek a professionals advice in advance.

Can I use numbing cream?

Yes, but please note that I do not provide or apply numbing products. If you choose to use one, it’s your responsibility to purchase it ahead of time and research it thoroughly. Some products may cause allergic reactions, affect healing, or change the feel of your skin during the session. I’m not liable for any adverse effects from products used before or after your tattoo.

Do you have a waitlist?

Yes! But it’s currently reserved for existing clients with ongoing projects. I use it to fill last-minute openings from cancellations or reschedules. It’s managed through my booking system, which will automatically send out notifications when availability comes up.
